Tinker Toy driven by John Swinehart goes to 284 ft to take over first place.  Jason Brammer drives Mr. Recovery into the lead with a pull of 288.4 ft.  Carol Suchy moves into second place for now with a pull 287.7 ft in Totally Geared.  Everybody takes a step back as Mark Mangan takes over first place in ZBAG with a pull of 294.6 ft.

Tom Worth in After Hours pulls into second place with a distance of 292.7 ft.  Scott Smith in 3 Bears takes second from Worth with a pull distance of 293.7 ft.  The ink isn't dry on the paper when Randy Kleikamp in Ol' Yeller runs a distance of 293.8 ft for second place.  Simply Red piloted by Rob Foster comes up just short of the lead with distance of 294.2 ft.

Jeff Smith in Lean Meat Machine has problems with the reverser, the sled pulls out onto the track and pulls him back to the starting line.  He pulls a distance of 292.5 ft.  Scott Phillips in Yankee Blue causes everyone to take a step back with his pull of 295.6 ft.  The pull of Jason Gossett in Under Pressure Reloaed ends prematurely when a drive line component breaks and the zings up; the truck stops at 285 ft.

Ron Newell in Temporary Insanity sends everyone back one position as he takes over first place with a pull of 298.1 ft.  Paul Holman sets up a potential pulloff when he drives 4-Play to a distance of 306.7 ft and the lead.  Jason Shoemaker goes out of bounds at 284 ft with the Pane in the Glass.  R. B. Moler has to get off the throttle of To the X-treme early in the pull and this hurts his distance as he is only able to pull 282 ft.

Misty Lustic has problems with the American Dream truck and drives it out of bounds at 253 ft.  Buckeye Shaker driven by Jim Mootz, last night's winner, goes 288 ft this afternoon.  Larry Peterson drives Profab into third place with a distance of 297.5 ft.  Dale Bryant comes back to make his pull in Someday and goes 282 ft.

No pulloff this afternoon.   Congratulations to Paul Holman and the 4-Play for their win in Modified Four-Wheel Drive Trucks!

Super Farm Tractors

55 Tractors in the class this afternoon pulling on the north track.  Lowry Old Ironsides Arctic Cat is the sled.

Scott Beckett in Plum Crazy is the test puller;  he declines the distance and drops 6. Rob Zorn in Snoopy II first recorded pull and he goes 306.2 ft.  Jeff Lance in Midnight Screamer is the next puller and he goes 303.4 ft to force a pulloff.  Clint Tucker in What's Smokin' pulls a distance of 305.6 ft to make the pulloff. Arlyn Smits in Wolverine Deere II, a championship contender, pulls 298 ft falling short of the pulloff distance.

A decision has been made and the sled will be reset.  We'll restart the class and Scott Beckett who dropped six after his test pull is again the test puller; he goes 293 ft.  Rob Zorn in Snoppy II runs out to 296 ft to take the lead for now.  Arlyn Smits in Wolverine Deere II pulls a distance of 293 ft.

Ryan Salenbien in Never Satisfied takes the lead with a distance of 307.5 ft to set up a potential pulloff.  Joe Moore in Dirty Deeds makes a nice pull but comes up a bit short of the pulloff at 297 ft.  Nathan Frey in Albino Buck pulls 292 ft.  Steve Colen in Clay Knob Binder make a nice pull of 294 ft as does Audra Stratton in Deerelirious at 293 ft.  Lil' Rascal piloted by Avery Nauman comes up just short of the pulloff distance at 299.2 ft.  Brock Oomen in Bad Oomen is also a bit short of making the pulloff at 297 ft.

It's been awhile and a lot of tractors have pulled, but Jack Giulitto in Buckeye Binder forces a pulloff with a distance of 301.0 ft.

It's Pulloff time!  Ryan Salenbien in Never Satisfied is first up and pulls 307 ft.  Jack Biulitto in Buckeye Binder goes 297 ft for second place.

Congratulations to Ryan Salenbien and Never Satisfied for their victory in Super Farm Tractors!

Modified Tractors

16 Tractors in the class this afternoon pulling on the south track.  Bauer Ironman is the sled.

Scott Swearingen in the Joker, last night's winner, is the test puller;  he pulls 308 ft; the pull is DQ'd by virtue of going out of bounds so he declines the distance and drops last.  Dave Snyder in Space Invader is the first puller of record; he starts drifting toward the out of bounds line, shuts the tractor down, and ends up at 216 ft.  Show No Mercy driven by Bruce Slagh has very strong pull with a distance of 328 ft.

Brent Long makes a nice pass in Larry Robert's Double Stuffed modified pulling a distance of 293 ft.  Shawn Swearingen comes back for his pull in the Joker; he again drifts left but keeps it in bounds and goes a distance of 312 ft to make the pulloff.  Wayne Purser in Uncle Sam also makes the pull with a distance of 327 ft.  Tom Bollinger gains entry to the pulloff pulling 321 ft in Top Gun.  Steve Bollinger misses the pulloff in Money Pit with a distance of 298.9ft.

Bob Jostock in the Wild Child makes the pulloff with a distance of 328 ft.  Todd Feiss in Sno Farmer Xtreme makes a nice jpull of 298 ft but it's not strong enough to make the pulloff today. Ken Veney, whou will be inducted into Don Garlit's Drag Racing Museum Hall of Fame next year, drives his Funny Farmall into the pulloff with a distance of 325 ft.  Nicole Snyder makes a nice pass of 302 ft, but it won't make today's pulloff.  Don Nelson makes a nice pass of 306 ft, but will not be in the pulloff.

It's Pulloff time!  We have six tractors.  First up is Bruce Slagh in Show No Mercy and he sets the bar at 304.5 ft.  Shawn Swearingen in the Joker goes 297.4; it looks like he had to get on the brake about mid track to keep the tractor from drifting to the sideline.  Wayne Pursor pilots Uncle Sam to second place with a distance 299.4.  Top Gun driven by Tom Bollinger runs 293.9 ft.  Bob Jostock takes the Wild Child out to 293.9 ft.

Ken Veney in the Funny Farmall will finish the class; he starts the engines but they don't sound right-- they sound flat.   He shuts them off and the crew makes some adjustments. He starts the first engine and it sounds good and crisp.  The second engine starts, but it sounds flat.   Veney shuts the engines off and will settle for sixth place.

Congratulations to Bruce Slagh and Show No Mercy for their win in Modified Tractors!
