2008 NTPA Contingency Program Announced The National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA) proudly announces the 2008 NTPA Contingency Program to be offered to all NTPA National Divisions of competition. This is the eighth year for this solid rewards program for competitors on the NTPA Championship Pulling Circuit. The grand total for the 2008 NTPA Contingency Program is $265,425, with the Regional National program equaling $39,000 of this total. Fifteen companies have committed to the program and to the sport of truck and tractor pulling, showing unwavering confidence in the NTPA Championship Pulling program and its competitors. The participating companies are dedicated to quality of service on and off the track and include: Brooks Rods, Corsa, CV Products, FAB Shop, Keith Black Racing Engines, Probell Racing, Profab, Pro-Filer Performance Products, Proformance Pros, Racepak Data Systems, Racing Engine Valves (REV), Riverside Engine, Ross Pistons, Smith Brothers Pushrods and Stroud Safety. Competitors wishing to participate in the NTPA Grand National or Regional National contingency program MUST sign up via the May or June issue of The Puller. Be sure to indicate the companies which you are signing up for by circling that particular company’s logo on the sign-up form. A competitor must hold a current, 2008 NTPA License with their vehicle(s) registered and MUST fill out the sign-up form. Those competitors registering by June 4 will receive their decals by mail. Those registering after that time will receive their decals at either the Wilmington, Ohio or Tomah, Wis. event. Those not participating in Wilmington or Tomah will receive their decals in the mail shortly thereafter.
