Chevy Trucks - NTPA’s Official Truck for 21 Years

Worthington, OH -- Chevrolet Truck Marketing has returned for its 21st straight year of involvement with NTPA pulling, making Chevrolet “the official truck of the NTPA.”

According to Jennifer Costabile, Chevrolet Regional Divisional Marketing Manager, the partnership with the NTPA is a great fit.

“Chevrolet has been building tough, dependable trucks since 1918,” began Costabile, “and demographic studies have shown that every two out of three NTPA pulling fan owns at least one pickup truck. We cooperatively want that NTPA fan driving a Chevrolet. It‘s a grass roots approach that has been a key in our efforts to compete effectively in the marketplace with our trucks. The local Chevy dealer tie-in coupled with NTPA events is a prime key to the success of our partnership over the years.”

NTPA fans will get to see the new Chevrolet line of vehicles at many of the national level events. The auto industry has been speaking very highly of the new Tahoe hybrid which brings “green friendly” technology to the world of SUVs by providing great fuel mileage in this period of rising fuel costs. However, the Chevy Silverado continues to make news, as it offers the best available V-8 highway fuel economy of any full-size pickup: an EPA estimated 20 miles per gallon and an available 315 horsepower engine. Silverado is also backed by the best transferable powertrain limited warranty of any full-size pickup: 100,000 miles or 5 years; whichever comes first. Combining any Chevy vehicle with their “Roadside Assistance and Courtesy Transportation“ program, consumers are finding out why Chevrolet provides the best coverage in America.

“Chevrolet and the NTPA are synonymous with each other,” stated David P. Schreier, WPI President/CEO. “Our relationship has been a strong one as we mirror each other in a lot of ways. We are tough, dependable, and leaders in our respective industries. There is great cross-over appeal between the truck owner and pulling fan. We are proud to have a partner like Chevrolet show its commitment for 21 straight years, and also proud knowing that our relationship has placed their trucks and cars into countless NTPA fans' driveways. We look forward to many more years with them by our side.”

In conclusion, Costabile stated, “As the official truck of the NTPA, Chevy Trucks would like to thank the fans who currently own our vehicles, and ask for the future support from those who may not currently own a Chevrolet.”
