NTPA Announces "Ohio Challenge" Series

Buckeye State Region II Classes to Share in $10,000 Specialty Program

Worthington, OH -- The NTPA is proud to announce a special point series to the 2008 NTPA Championship Pulling Circuit. It's called the Ohio Challenge series, and it features a $10,000 points fund for all Region II classes competing in the Buckeye state during the 2008 season.

 

Sponsors of this series include: MAC Trailer, Cen-Pe-Co Lubricants, the National Tractor Pulling Championships in Bowling Green, Ohio, and the Enderle Pull-Off. The four participating companies or events share a common thread - they are Ohio-based in some form or another.

Wilmington, July 12

Mount Vernon, July 20

Springfield, July 23

Hamilton, July 24

Eaton, July 30

Wapakoneta, Aug. 1-2

Urbana, Aug. 4

Sandusky, Aug. 8

Celina, Aug. 9

Painesville, Aug. 12

Zanesville, Aug. 14

Greenville, Aug. 19

Hicksville, Aug. 21

Wellington, Aug. 22

Fort Recovery, Aug. 22-23

Wauseon, Aug. 29

Findlay, Aug. 30

Marietta, Sept. 1

Old Washington, Sept. 11

 

Divisions eligible to participate in the Ohio Challenge Series include: FWD Trucks, TWD Trucks, Super Stock FWD Trucks, Modified Tractors, Light Super Stock Tractors, Heavy Super Stock Tractors, Pro Stock Tractors, and Super Farm Tractors.

 

Competitors already earning Regional National points with their vehicles will automatically be eligible for the Ohio Challenge series. The Ohio Challenge payout will be distributed in the same manner in which the overall NTPA Regional National Points Fund is handled. Payout will occur at the 2008 NTPA Awards Banquet on December 6 at the Dublin Crowne Plaza.
