Demographics The National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA)
Exposure Amount: A fan base of over 1.4 million direct and up to 28 million indirect through various media capacities. Approximately 1100 Members/Competitors. Average event attendance of an event is 3000 to 5000 people per session. Several events will see 10,000+ people per session. One session is a single show. An event may have up to six (6) sessions over a weekend with up to two sessions per day. Over 250 events are conducted in a pulling season. RFD-TV Weekly Series Exposure: Beginning in September of 2005, viewers across America are able to watch NTPA Championship Pulling each week on the RFD-TV Network. In 52 weeks, a total of 208 airings will be seen by millions of people. The NTPA Championship Pulling Series is entering it's third year of pulling action. RFD-TV is America’s first 24-hour television network providing entertainment targeted to the rural population - America’s farmers and ranchers. Basic subscribers to the DirecTV (channel 379) and Dish Network (channel 231) as well as select cable outlets in Iowa and Minnesota compose over 28 million households having the ability to watch the series. Satellite or the “mini dish” means of televised networks is the fastest growing means of viewer ship, with an estimated 12% growth in just the past 12 months. Over the course of 250+ Grand National, Regional National and Member State Events over 1.4 million fans will be reached directly. Our television series is accessible to over 30 million homes. Our magazine is available in the magazine section of all Tractor Supply Company (TSC) stores (650+) in addition to our regular subscribers of THE PULLER. “NTPA Championship Pulling” may be viewed every Saturday at 4:00 PM, Tuesday at 6:30 PM and Wednesday at 2:30 and 10:30 AM all EST. Over 63% of NTPA fans own four (4) or more vehicles. Pick up trucks represent 63% of all primary vehicles with another 33% indicating their secondary vehicle was also a pick up truck. 38% of the primary vehicles are between 2-4 years old. Secondary vehicles were dispersed between 2-4 years old and 8+ years old both of which rated 34%. The average weighted age of primary vehicles was 4.23 years. The average weighted age of secondary vehicles was 5.33 years. The average weighted age of primary and secondary vehicles combined was 4.78 years. NTPA Truck and Tractor pulling is a true family oriented event and spans generations of fans. Our fans have a genuine interest in motorsports and engine performance. Millions of fans watch our show each week on the RFD-TV Network.
